How and when do I get my photos?

Secure, Permission-Based Access within 2 days
Viewing is available on a private, encrypted online gallery within 1–2 days of Photo Day. If you give permission for the gallery, you will receive a secure link with clear instructions for viewing your child’s natural, play-based portraits.
Quality & Accuracy Check
To ensure absolute accuracy, group photos and name lists are reviewed with your centre management before orders are finalised. This prevents errors and ensures 100% compliance with your centre’s privacy preferences.
Streamlined Delivery
Digital Orders: Delivered directly to families via secure download link within 2–3 weeks of the gallery closing.
Print Orders: Professionally printed, sorted by class, and delivered to the centre for easy collection.
Timeline: Most orders are completed within 4 weeks of the final ordering deadline.

My child has a scratch/runny nose. Do you retouch it?

We believe in capturing your child authentically! We do not automatically retouch temporary scratches, bruises, or runny noses, as we edit hundreds of students at a time.
Basic edits: We adjust brightness, colour, and crop every single image.
Retouching requests: If you require specific retouching (e.g., removing a scratch), please add a note with your order.
🔹 We do not alter a child’s appearance. (e.g., height, weight, facial structure)

Why can’t I choose my own mix of print sizes?

Our packages are pre-designed to offer the lowest possible price by streamlining the printing process with our professional lab.
Need flexibility? We recommend the Digital Package. This gives you the high-resolution file so you can print any size, anywhere and as many times as you like!

What if my child is absent or refuses to smile?

We work hard to make photo day fun! However, we cannot force a child to participate if they are feeling unhappy or unwell.
Refunds: If we could not capture a technically viable image of your child, we will contact you to discuss options.

Can I order additional photos?

Yes! After viewing your child’s gallery, you can choose any extra photos you love. Prices and instructions for ordering will be sent to you.

Is there a deadline to order?

Orders are available for a limited time after the gallery is released. This ensures that we can deliver your images promptly. We’ll notify you of the closing date in your gallery email.

I’m Leah, owner of Follett Photography. While weekends are for weddings and family portraits, I spend weekdays capturing Early Learning Centres across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and the Tweed Coast. With over 14 years of experience, I know the best photos happen when children feel safe and free to be themselves. No stiff poses or flashing lights — I get down on the floor to capture curiosity, joy, and play-based moments in natural light. My goal: happy children, stress-free educators, and keepsake photos families truly treasure. I hold a current QLD Blue Card, full public liability insurance, and—most importantly—lots of patience!
