FAQ from Parents

How and when will I receive my photos?

Your child’s images will be available to view in a secure online gallery within 2-3 days after photo day. If you’ve provided permission, you’ll receive a private link with simple instructions to access your gallery.
Before finalising orders, we work closely with your centre to check class groups and names for accuracy, ensuring everything is correct and aligned with your centre’s privacy preferences.
Digital orders are delivered via secure download within 2–3 weeks after the gallery closes
Print orders are professionally printed, sorted by class, and delivered to your centre
Most orders are completed within 4 weeks of the ordering deadline

My child has a scratch or runny nose—will this be edited?

We focus on capturing children naturally, just as they are on the day. As we photograph many children, we don’t automatically remove temporary marks such as scratches, bruises, or runny noses before viewing your online gallery. We DO remove obvious marks on faces on the images that you order.
All images receive basic editing (colour, brightness, and cropping).
If you would like a specific retouch, you can request this when placing your order.
We do not alter a child’s natural features or appearance.

Why can’t I choose my own combination of print sizes?

Our packages are designed to keep ordering simple and affordable by using a streamlined printing process with our professional lab.
If you’d prefer more flexibility, a digital option allows you to print your images in any size, whenever you like.

What if my child is absent or doesn’t want to participate?

We always aim to make photo day relaxed and enjoyable, but we understand that some children may not feel comfortable on the day.
If we’re unable to capture a suitable image, we’ll be in touch to discuss the next steps.

Can I order additional photos?

Yes! Once you’ve viewed your gallery, you’re welcome to select any extra images you love. Details for ordering will be provided with your gallery.

Is there a deadline to place my order?

Yes, galleries are open for a limited time to allow us to process and deliver orders efficiently. You’ll receive all timing details in your gallery email.

Hi, I’m Leah.

I’m Leah, the photographer behind Follett Photography. While I photograph weddings and family sessions on weekends, my weekdays are spent working with Early Learning Centres throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. With over 14 years of experience, I take a relaxed, child-led approach—because the best photos happen when children feel comfortable and free to be themselves. There are no stiff poses or studio lights, just natural moments captured through play, connection, and genuine expression. My focus is simple: creating a calm, enjoyable experience for educators and beautiful, meaningful photos for families. I hold a current QLD Blue Card, full public liability insurance, and plenty of patience.
