• I authorise Follett Photography to photograph my child during their childcare photography session conducted at their early learning centre.
• I consent to my child being photographed together with their sibling(s) at the same childcare centre, where applicable.
• I also consent to my child’s photo/my child being included in the class or group photograph — whether taken as a live group photo or created as a composite/collage from individual portraits — knowing that this photo will be printed and distributed to others in the class.

You may withdraw this consent at any time before images are taken by contacting us using the details in our Privacy Policy.

All images and personal information are stored on password-protected, and/or encrypted systems. We take reasonable steps to protect all data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. However, we cannot be held responsible for unexpected technical issues outside our control.

We do not share personal information such as your name, your child’s name, or your childcare centre with printing or fulfilment laboratories, except where a class photograph itself includes a child’s name as printed text within the image — in that case, the name is visible to Brilliant Prints, and on rare occasions Camera House, only as part of producing that specific product. We only send them the images themselves, for the purpose of printing and delivering your order.

Consent to Transfer: You acknowledge and consent to your child’s images (without any accompanying personal information, except as noted above for class photographs) being transmitted via secure online links or transfers to independent, third-party professional laboratories — including Brilliant Prints, Camera House, Vistaprint, and Snapfish — for printing and order fulfilment only. Your gallery, including your images, is hosted through ShootProof. These providers operate independently and maintain their own privacy and security standards.

To help you understand exactly what happens to your child’s images, our process works as follows:

• All photos captured during your session are saved onto a password-protected hard drive.
• The best images are selected and uploaded to your private online gallery on Shoot Proof, for you to view and order prints or products.
• Login details for your gallery are emailed to you.
• Your gallery is removed after a few weeks.
• Selected images are edited and supplied to our printing and fulfilment providers to complete any orders. This is done through their online ordering systems, or via private Dropbox link.
• Final edited images are delivered to you via a secure Dropbox link, sent to your email.l

We will always take reasonable steps to resolve any issues where possible.

Every effort will be made to capture high-quality images of your child. However, outcomes may vary depending on your child’s comfort, participation, and willingness on the day of the session.

Follett Photography is not responsible for matters outside our reasonable control; including, but not limited to, actions, conduct, or errors of third-party employees or service providers; delays, errors, or failures within third-party printing laboratories or fulfilment services; security breaches or issues occurring within external systems or facilities; or technical failures, delays, or data loss caused by external systems or software outside our control. We will always take reasonable steps to resolve any issues where possible.

Follett Photography takes the utmost care with respect to the capture, storage, and processing of your child’s photographs, including using professional-grade equipment and secure backup storage. However, in the unlikely event that your child’s photographs are lost, damaged, or unable to be delivered due to circumstances within our control, our liability is limited to the return of any payment you have made for that order, and shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected order. Where only part of an order is affected, liability is limited to a prorated refund based on the portion of images affected.

If we are unable to attend a scheduled session due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule as soon as possible.
